Apparatus For Photoelectric Effect Experiment

Apparatus For Photoelectric Effect Experiment

This apparatus for photoelectric effect experiment current across seven ranges, from 10⁻⁵ A down to 10⁻¹³ A. The display is a 3.5-digit type. After a 20-minute warm-up, the zero drift is minimal. On the most sensitive range, the drift is no more than ±0.2% over 30 minutes.

Description

Very Low Current Measurements

This apparatus for photoelectric effect experiment current across seven ranges, from 10⁻⁵ A down to 10⁻¹³ A. The display is a 3.5-digit type. After a 20-minute warm-up, the zero drift is minimal. On the most sensitive range, the drift is no more than ±0.2% over 30 minutes. The phototube power supply offers two voltage ranges: -3 to +2 V and -3 to +24 V, with voltage stability of ≤0.1%. The phototube responds to light in the 340 to 700 nm range. The minimum cathode sensitivity is ≥1 μA, and the dark current is ≤5×10⁻¹³ A. This apparatus provides high precision for student laboratory use.

Five Filters and Five Apertures

This apparatus for photoelectric effect experiment set with five central wavelengths: 365.0, 404.7, 435.8, 546.1, and 578.0 nm. A mercury lamp provides all five spectral lines. The aperture dial includes five hole sizes: 2, 4, 8, 10, and 12 mm. The instrument has a low-profile horizontal design, which prevents it from blocking light or interfering with nearby lab stations. The mercury lamp includes an internal cooling system to prevent overheating and reduce the risk of burns, ensuring safe operation.

Three Methods to Determine Planck's Constant

This apparatus supports three measurement methods: the zero-current method, the compensation method, and the inflection point method. The measurement error is ≤3%. Optional modules are available for testing solar cells, photodiodes, and photoresistors. Our factory follows ISO 9001 standards and performs 100% inspection on every unit before packaging. Export packaging uses paper cartons, and we offer a one-year warranty. The design is clear, durable, and well received by many teachers.
