The microcurrent measurement system provides four ranges, from 10⁻⁶ A down to 10⁻⁹ A. The display uses a 3.5-digit readout. The minimum measurable voltage is 0.1 V, and the minimum measurable current is 10⁻¹⁰ A.
A standard oscilloscope can be used to observe the dynamic signal, allowing students to directly view the formation of spectral peaks. This makes the Frank-Hertz experiment highly visual and easier to understand.

Digital Encoder for Easy Control
This Frank-Hertz Experiment Apparatus uses a rotary digital encoder to adjust the second grid voltage. The encoder has no mechanical end stops and no mechanical wear, allowing fast and continuous adjustment to any desired value. The front panel clearly displays the circuit diagram and experimental principle.
Five LED digital displays show all key parameters simultaneously, with each measurement displayed independently-no switching is required. The system supports both manual measurement and oscilloscope-based measurement, making it flexible for different teaching approaches.
Clear Peaks and Stable Performance
The apparatus can display at least eight spectral peaks and six valleys. The filament voltage UH is DC 3–6.2 V with ±1% accuracy. The first grid voltage UG1K ranges from 0 to 5 V DC. The second grid voltage UG2K ranges from 0 to 120 V DC. The repeller voltage UG2A ranges from 0 to 15 V DC. The sawtooth waveform amplitude is ≥60 Vpp, with a frequency of 200 ±2% Hz.
