See Light Intensity Curves in Real Time

This interference and diffraction apparatus uses a linear array CCD to capture real-time light intensity distribution curves. The system is built on a 100cm aluminum rail with a black anti-reflection coating.

It includes three one-dimensional movable saddles and one two-dimensional adjustable saddle. The system is equipped with a 650nm laser and a cylindrical lens, with adjustable light intensity. Students can directly observe interference fringes on an oscilloscope, and no darkroom is required.

High-Resolution CCD for Clear Data

The linear array CCD contains 2700 photosensitive elements, with a spectral response range of 0.3–0.9 μm and a spatial resolution of 11 μm.

This system generates continuous real-time intensity curves. Compared with traditional mechanical scanning methods, which are slow and step-based, this CCD-based approach provides immediate results. As students adjust the optical setup, the intensity curve updates instantly, making the physical meaning of interference much easier to understand. The resulting data is high-resolution and clearly visualized.

Fine Adjustment for the Biprism

The biprism component measures 30×20×3mm and is mounted on a precision adjustable holder with three degrees of freedom: tilt, horizontal (left-right), and vertical (up-down).

The horizontal adjustment range is 70mm, with a positioning precision of 0.1mm using a vernier scale. A buffer pad is included to protect the biprism during operation.

The system also includes a lens with a focal length of 150mm. Observation and data acquisition are performed via an oscilloscope, and the setup can be extended to other optical experiments as well.

Trusted by University Laboratories

This interference and diffraction apparatus is widely used in university-level optics laboratories. The real-time intensity curve helps students intuitively understand interference by showing how intensity varies with path difference.

The CCD-based method is fast and modern, providing immediate visual feedback. The laser source is both safe and stable, and the black-coated rail effectively suppresses stray light.

The system comes with a one-year warranty. EXW and FOB trade terms are available. For long-term cooperative customers, faster delivery for repeat orders can be arranged. This apparatus is an excellent choice for wave optics teaching and research laboratories.
